Wellington Phoenix coach Giancarlo Italiano intends to slowly ramp up striker Oskar Zawada's minutes as he miraculously returns from a season-ending injury

Wellington Phoenix coach Giancarlo Italiano intends to slowly ramp up striker Oskar Zawada's minutes as he miraculously returns from a season-ending injury

The Polish import was thought to have been gone for the year with a thigh issue, but is set to play in tomorrow night's A-League matchup against the Jets in Newcastle.

Italiano wants to give Zawada enough game time to be ready for their home-and-away semi-final fixture next month.
