A group of All Blacks will get back on the park this weekend for Super Rugby sides after layoffs

A group of All Blacks will get back on the park this weekend for Super Rugby sides after layoffs

Halfback Finlay Christie will come off the Blues' bench against the Chiefs after two months out with a groin issue, while Hurricanes hooker Asafo Aumua is back from a knee injury against the Highlanders.

Flanker Samipeni Finau returns for the Chiefs in their visit to Auckland.

Meanwhile, coach Rob Penney's offered a potential swan-song to two Crusaders centurions ahead of Friday's final round robin clash with Moana Pasifika in Christchurch.

Ryan Crotty comes in for the injured David Havili at second five - while Owen Franks returns to the bench with Fletcher Newell given a rest.

Starting prop Joe Moody - also not expected back next year - and Willi Heinz are also expected to head into retirement.

Penney hopes they're given an appropriate send off at home.

The Crusaders need a win and the Drua and Force to lose to sneak into the top eight playoffs.
