Samantha Harris has been diagnosed with breast cancer for a second time

The 50-year-old former 'Dancing With the Stars' presenter previously battled the disease a decade ago and underwent a double mastectomy as part of her treatment, but she's now confirmed she's fighting cancer once again

Samantha shared the news in a video posted on Instagram, explaining: "I have some shocking health news that I never thought in my lifetime again I would have to share, but I have a breast cancer recurrence.

"Caught it early. It is very early. It is in the exact same location of my initial breast cancer 10 years ago. It is tiny and I'm going to live and thrive and live my healthiest, healthy life possible but I wanted to share with each of you because first of all it took yet again pushing doctors to continually monitor and look for any changes ... I will fight on and I will be okay."

Samantha added: "I'm so grateful for my family and my close friends for the support they have shown me, yet again. My husband Michael, who is by my side for everything at all times and our daughters, who were just three and six at the initial diagnosis 10 years ago, but now at 13 and 16 having to share with them in a completely different way and I couldn't be more proud of how unbelievably strong and beautifully supportive they both have been ... "

In another video, Samantha revealed she discovered the cancer after coming home from a holiday in Croatia when a biopsy revealed a lump she had found was cancerous.

Samantha underwent scans which revealed the cancer has not spread and she is now awaiting the cancer to be staged before she moves forward with her treatment plan.
