Authorities have been searching overnight for one person missing from a boat on Auckland's Manukau Harbour

Police say two people were on the boat when it capsized near Puketutu Island - with only one managing to make it shore.

Three boats, a Westpac helicopter and Auckland Airport's hovercraft are involved in the search for the missing person.
