Travis Kelce has revealed one of his nicknames for girlfriend Taylor Swift

The 34-year-old NFL player referred to his pop superstar partner, also 34, as "Tay Tay" whilst discussing his surprise appearance at one of her Wembley Stadium stops on the 'Eras Tour' in June

The sportsman was dressed in a tuxedo as part of a sketch in between songs that saw Taylor pretend to swoon before he lifted her to a couch.

Recalling carrying her onstage, he told the 'Rich Eisen Show': "Taylor knew when the lights are on, I'm gonna have some fun.

"She put me in a position where I didn't have to do much for it to be a success. She put me in a really comfortable part of the show, and I was just there not to screw anything up."

On trying not to drop her, he said: "That would have been the most embarrassing thing I could have ever done. Just getting her to the couch was the hardest part."

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end says the 'I Knew You Were Trouble' hitmaker wanted to ensure he was comfortable taking part in the show.

He added: "There was definitely that extra like, 'Wait, are you sure you want to do this?' But she was so fun about it, and you know, I'm always down to have some fun on stage with Tay Tay."

Travis recently spilled that he ended up doing the stage cameo after telling Taylor he wanted to roll out in front of the crowd on a motorcycle.

He told his brother Jason on their 'New Heights' podcast: "I initially mentioned it to Tay. I was like, 'How funny would it be if I just rolled out on one of the bikes during the 1989 era?'"

Travis added despite Taylor laughing at the idea at first, she then asked: "Would you seriously be up for doing something like that?"

He went on: "I was just like, 'What? I would love to do that, are you kidding me?' I've seen the show enough - might as well put me to work here.

"And sure enough, she found the perfect part of the show for me to come in."
