Consumer NZ's welcoming charges against Jetstar, for errors over compensation for disrupted flights

Consumer NZ's welcoming charges against Jetstar, for errors over compensation for disrupted flights

The Commerce Commission is filing charges saying Jetstar made false or misleading statements to consumers about their rights in 2022 and 2023.

Consumer NZ campaign manager, Jessica Walker, says they complained to the Com-Com in 2022 about Jetstar.

She says they've had ongoing conversations with Jetstar and Air New Zealand about how they manage flight disruptions.

Jetstar has apologised and contacted customers.
