    Police have found the body of the person, who died in a crash into Bay of Plenty's Waioeka river last week


    The vehicle went down a bank, entering the river on Friday morning, and two others escaped with moderate injuries.

    Search and rescue teams, including a boat, helicopter and jetski's have been searching the river, but have been delayed by dangerous conditions.

    They found the body, around 400 metres from the original crash site.
