Cameron Waters was next quickest in his Mustang, with Richie Stanaway the best of the Kiwi drivers in fourth place... Stanaway just 0.374 of a second behind Kostecki.

Earlier, Broc Feeney set the pace in the red flag-riddled third practice at Mount Panorama.

Qualifying starts at 6.15pm.
