    Reigning Supercars champion Brodie Kostecki expects to be pushed to his physical limit in this afternoon's Bathurst 1000


    The 26-year-old Aussie surprised himself by earning pole position for the Great Race, which starts at 1.30 .

    Kostecki says his Chevrolet Camaro has been experiencing bad tyre vibrations in practice and qualifying.



    The Kiwi contingent has defending champ Richie Stanaway starting 4th on the grid, Matt Payne in 7th, Andre Heimgartner 10th and Ryan Wood 14th.
