An emotional day for family of a man who died after drinking meth-laced beer

Himatjit Singh Kahlon has been found guilty of manslaughter for giving workmate Aidan Sagala the fatal drink in March last year.

He'll be sentenced in December, as well as for possessing meth for supply.

The Herald's Michael Morrah says Sagala's parents felt relief, after the verdict.

He says they have in a way forgiven him - but will never forget what he did.
