    They will vote for the ex-Wallaby as Bill Beaumont's replacement on November 14.

    France's Abdel Benazzi and Italy's Andrea Rinaldo are the other candidates - the winner needs a clear majority among the 52 council members.

    NZR chief executive Mark Robinson has played a conciliatory hand, in case his namesake loses.
