Hillier's plummeted 14 places, into a tie for 27th, ten shots off the pace.
Kazuma Kobori has finished with an even-par 72 to be in a tie for 35th, while Josh Geary is in a tie for 43rd with one hole left to play in his round.
Nick Voke has finished in a tie for 51st.
