The Silver Ferns' test calendar could be about to get a monumental shake-up from World Netball

A leaked prospectus has revealed plans are afoot for World Cups to be held every two years from 2027, with a new Continental Cup also to be held biennially.

The Daily Telegraph reports the governing bodies from New Zealand, Australia, England and World Netball have joint ownership of the Continental Cup, which will feature the top-ranked team from Asia, Oceania, Europe, the Americas and Africa squaring off.

It would start next year, repeat in 2026 and then every two years from there.

The Fast5 competition could be held multiple times a year.

Netball New Zealand's been approached for comment.
