Intense storms and heavy rain are set to continue in one Australian state, as forecasters expect the most severe weather could be on its way

The Bureau of Meteorology has issued multiple flood warnings across Queensland, along with an alert for parts of the southeast, which had upwards of 100 millimetres of rain yesterday.

Forecasters say today is another wet and stormy day, and could see the highest rainfall totals and most extensive thunderstorms.
