A grim debut for Everton's new 1.6 billion dollar football stadium, at least from a local perspective

Liverpool fan Harrison Rimmer has scored the first goal at the venue during a test event between Everton and Wigan's under-18 sides in front of a crowd of around 10 thousand.

Rimmer promptly celebrated by raising six fingers to the crowd - across two hands - to symbolise their six European Cup wins.
