Warriors defensive coach Slade Griffin has offered the key behind the lack of high-tackle penalties for his playing group so far in the NRL season

Warriors defensive coach Slade Griffin has offered the key behind the lack of high-tackle penalties for his playing group so far in the NRL season

    - article from www.rugbyleague.co.nz

The club are the least-penalised team for high shots, pinged on just three occasions, compared to the Titans' 18, which leads the competition.

Griffin says a focus on low tackling is paying dividends.

The Warriors take on the Cowboys in tonight's NRL Magic Round game in Brisbane.

They'll be without Ali Leiataua, who's out with an ankle injury.
