The grass has proven greener for Lulu Sun as the world's best tennis players prepare for Wimbledon

The grass has proven greener for Lulu Sun as the world's best tennis players prepare for Wimbledon

The world number 46 has belied some patchy form to defeat top seed and defending champion Daria Kasatkina in three sets during the opening round at the Eastbourne lead-in tournament.

Sun reached the last eight at the All England Club last year, but says the upset win is more about the surface.

A match with world number 69 Anna Blinkova awaits in the second round.
