Jessie J has undergone breast cancer surgery

The 37-year-old pop star announced earlier this month that she'd been diagnosed with breast cancer, and Jessie has now taken to social media to reveal where she is in her treatment journey

Alongside a series of photos and videos taken in her hospital room - including some featuring her boyfriend Chanan and her two-year-old son, Sky - Jessie wrote on Instagram: "??Blood warning??This post is some of the honest lows and highs of the last 48 hours. I will always show the good and hard bits of any journey I go through. Grateful to my doctor / surgeon and all the nurses who cared for me and all my family / friends who came to visit. [hug emoji] I am home now, to rest and wait for my results [fingers crossed emoji]

"Chanan is in a nurse outfit. No no, he isn't, but funny to imagine.

"Still hugging everyone going through something tough right now. We all got this! [hugging, heart and battery emojis] (sic)"

Jessie actually shared news of her cancer diagnosis via an Instagram post on June 3.

The singer admitted at the time that she had been "going back and forth" over whether to share the news with the public.

The Price Tag hitmaker said in a video message: "I want to share it with my fans and the people that care about me, and also I'm a sharer. I've always shared everything that I go through in my life. Before No Secrets came out, I was diagnosed with early breast cancer.

"I'm highlighting the word early. Cancer sucks in any form, but I'm holding on to the word early. I have been in and out of tests throughout this whole period."

Jessie admitted at the time that she was still trying to process the news herself. However, she ultimately felt it was important that she shared the news with her fans.

She said: "I'm not processing it because I'm working so hard. I also know how much sharing in the past has helped me with other people giving me their love and support and also their own stories."
