Stats NZ figures show ready-mixed concrete volume produced in the year to June, was down six-percent on the previous quarter.

In the June quarter, it was down 10-percent annually.

There is optimism, though.

A survey by Kennards Hire reveals more than 90-percent of industry leaders, feel confident about the next five years.
