    State Highway 2 will be closed at Waikare Gorge for the next 24 hours to allow for the replacement of a bridge


    The NZ Transport Agency says the current Bailey bridge will be lifted out with the new Acrow bridge lifted into place.

    It will also be closed 9pm to 5am on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.
