Health New Zealand says they're all previously close contacts of existing cases.
One was identified after becoming infectious, so may have spread the illness without realising it.
Public health's now tracing these locations.
Exposure dates during exam time in early September have been confirmed at Kerikeri High School.
Anyone who was at school during these times and who's had a fever or rash should call Healthline, even if they're now recovered.
There's also one unrelated case in Queenstown.
People in the Northland, Queenstown and Cromwell communities should monitor for symptoms.
