    Three patients have been airlifted to hospital - two in critical conditions - after a boat capsized in Port Waikato this morning


    Police say they received reports of a boat overturned north of Sunset Beach around 7.15 this morning.

    St John says it was notified of a water related incident at Lake Puketi a short time later.

    One person was taken to Auckland City hospital, the other to Waikato hospital, while the third is being flown to Middlemore in a moderate condition.
