    A hit and run involving a child on a scooter in Christchurch


    A police spokesperson says one person was taken to hospital after the incident on Hay Street in Bromley just before 3.30pm yesterday.

    She says the vehicle fled the scene and has yet to be located.

    A comment on Facebook thread says the victim is a boy injured with a broken arm, shattered knee capand potential concussion.
