    New Crusaders captain David Havili is ready to bark orders from the backline


    The midfielder is the first full-time skipper from the franchise to come from outside the pack.

    He replaces Scott Barrett who has stood down due to his responsibilities at All Blacks level.

    Havili says he'll defer to experience when necessary.



    The Super Rugby season starts February 14.
