Beyonce has swapped her flying red Cadillac for a gold mechanical horse following a frightening stage mishap during her Cowboy Carter tour

The 43-year-old singer had initially performed her hit 16 Carriages while flying through the air in the car, but Beyonce seems to have scrapped the Cadillac after the vehicle began to tilt during her performance in Houston on June 28

In footage shared to social media of the show, Beyonce can be heard repeatedly saying, "stop".

She then said: "Thank y'all for your patience", as she paused the performance while crew members rescued her.

Crowds could be heard applauding once Beyonce made it back to the ground.

Following that accident, the TEXAS HOLD 'EM hitmaker had cut 16 Carriages from her setlist for her Houston performance on June 29, and instead ended the show with Amen.

Beyonce had also removed 16 Carriages during two dates at Northwest Stadium near Washington, D.C., on July 4 and July 7.

Then, during her Atlanta show on July 10, Beyonce could be seen zipping above the arena to perform 16 Carriages in a gold mechanical horse.

Since embarking on her Cowboy Carter tour in April, Beyonce has managed to pull in $332 million across 32 shows.

The Single Ladies singer started her tour with a record-breaking $55.7 million gross across her five gigs at the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California - which saw over 217,000 tickets sold.

As reported by Rolling Stone, the Los Angeles run is the "biggest reported single-venue engagement" of the year so far.

It ranks as the fifth highest-grossing tour stop in Boxscore history - surpassed only by U2's performance at the Sphere in Las Vegas in 2023 and 2024, Harry Styles' 2022 shows at Madison Square Garden in New York, and Take That's 2011 Wembley Stadium residency.

Additionally, it holds the record for the highest-grossing single-venue engagement ever by a female artist.

On the opening night of the SoFi run, Beyonce was joined onstage by her daughters, Blue Ivy Carter and Rumi Carter.

During the performance of America Has A Problem, 13-year-old Blue Ivy danced alongside her famous mother, while seven-year-old Rumi made her onstage debut later in the show.
