Injuries mean Matt Fisher, Kyle Jamieson, Will O'Rourke and Ben Sears were not selected - Glenn Phillips also missed consideration.
The batting contingent will be chosen from captain Tom Latham, Will Young, Devon Conway, Kane Williamson, Rachin Ravindra and Daryl Mitchell.
