Hopes new technology will help researchers understand how we can age better

Otago University's Canterbury Health and Life Course Study began in 2010, with 400 50-year-olds contributing health records, lifestyle data, and biological samples.
It's now also able to use genome sequencing.
Study Director Associate Professor John Pearson says it will help identify who may struggle with ageing due to their genetics.
He says with high cholesterol, some people can change what they eat and it will respond - but this doesn't help for one in 200.
