    A homicide investigation's underway in Kapiti after the body of a woman was discovered


    Police were called to Matatua Road in Raumati Beach just after 1am, after reports of someone being injured.

    A 24-year-old man will appear in Porirua District Court today, charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

    Forensic examinations are underway, and further charges are being considered.
