The Breakers are crossing their fingers that their opening NBL match will be rescheduled to December 10

The Breakers are crossing their fingers that their opening NBL match will be rescheduled to December 10

There are now nine members of their touring party who have tested positive for Covid-19, with boss Matt Walsh confirming both he and coach Dan Shamir have the virus.

The New Zealand side are due to meet South East Melbourne next Saturday.

Walsh is hopeful that the match will be able to be pushed back, but he says the franchise won't throw their toys out of the cot if the NBL decide to stick with the scheduled date.
