The 51 year old rose to fame as part of girl group the Spice Girls in the 1990s but later stepped away from music tp launch her own self-named fashion house and Victoria has now opened up about her love of clothes in her new Netflix documentary admitting she used different styles to become someone else

In the self-titled series, Victoria explained: "I've always wanted to do this [fashion]. Throughout my life, I've used clothes to become someone else, be the person that I always wanted to be, that maybe naturally I wasn't.
"I used to customise the school uniform in the bathroom at lunchtime. I used to love watching my mum get dressed up, you know she really cared and made the best of herself."
She added: "I remember my mum saying to me if you dress up to get on the aeroplane, if there's any chance of being upgraded they're always going to look at who looks the best. I mean the truth is, there is no first class on budget air lines."
In a teaser for the documentary - which is released on October 9 - Victoria also explained how difficult it was to get her fashion label off the ground and she became tearful as she admitted the company ended up "millions in the red", adding: "It has taken so long to get to this point".
The singer insisted she just wanted to make her husband Sir David Beckham and their four kids "proud".
David appears alongside her in the clip and is seen telling his wife: "You could make a cheese and ham toasted sandwich and we'd be proud of you," and Victoria then joked: "Let's be honest, I couldn't actually make a cheese sandwich very well."
The Spice Girls star also revealed she's "excited" to use the docuseries to give fans a glimpse behind the scenes of her fashion label.
She said: "I have never forgotten where I came from ... I'm so excited to give people a glimpse behind the scenes of the businesses I've been building for the past two decades and celebrate the remarkable people who bring it all to life.
"I'm endlessly thankful for them and excited for all that's still to come."
