    The biggest cost of APEC 2021 going virtual -- is the loss of thousands of international visitors


    Foreign Minister Winston Peters has announced the global disruption caused by Covid-19 is a major factor in holding the conference online.

    Auckland Business Chamber chief executive, Michael Barnett says at least 20-thousand visitors were expected in Auckland for the event.

    He says they would have brought tens of millions of dollars into New Zealand.
