Sussex bowler Ollie Robinson has conceded a English county cricket championship record 43 runs in an over against Leicestershire at Hove

Sussex bowler Ollie Robinson has conceded a English county cricket championship record 43 runs in an over against Leicestershire at Hove

No-one has been belted for more in the competition's 134-year history.

Robinson trundled in against number eight batter Louis Kimber and was belted for six fours and two sixes in nine deliveries thanks to an additional three no-balls which carry a two-run penalty in the English domestic game.

    Kimber finished with 243.

Curiously, spinner Shoaib Bashir equalled the previous most runs conceded in an over with 38 two days ago for Worcestershire against Surrey.
