The SPCA says pet obesity is a growing concern

The agency says it's had 48 reports of pets being too big for their own wellbeing in the past year.

Earlier this week a woman was sent to prison for two months for overfeeding her obese dog Nuggi to death.

The SPCA says other complaints of dangerously overweight pets in the past year include dogs, horses, cats, pigs and even a bearded dragon.
