The activist who splashed tomato juice over a British campaigner speaking in Auckland against trans-rights in March last year - has been convicted and discharged

Eli Rubashkyn - whose legal name is Eliana Golberstein - pleaded guilty in June to assault charges.
Rubashkyn's lawyer yesterday asked for a discharge without conviction - but the judge was not persuaded.
The court's heard she's been subject to death threats, and the court agreed with her lawyer she's been punished enough. .
