Two teenage girls have been arrested accused of attempting to steal clothes, and assaulting a security guard and member of the public

Police were called to Auckland's WestCity mall in Waitakere, about 1.45m yesterday.

It's alleged one teen assaulted a security guard as they fled, and the other ran into a member of the public.

Neither people were seriously injured - and two girls were apprehended boarding a bus bound for New Lynn.
