Another day hearing from witnesses at the murder trial of Tingjun Cao in Christchurch

Another day hearing from witnesses at the murder trial of Tingjun Cao in Christchurch

He's accused of killing Yanfei Bao , who disappeared in July last year, with her body not found for more than a year.

Prosecutors say Cao attacked Bao as she showed him through a property.

Her partner, Paul Gooch, testified yesterday he last saw her asleep as he left for work, calling her disappearance completely out of character.

He described her as beautiful, and corrected Cao's lawyer when he called Bao missing, not dead.

Real estate agents, and a friend of Bao are expected on the stand today.

    Court will resume at 10am.
