Police are still searching for the suspect in the fatal stabbing of a bus passenger in Onehunga

Police are still searching for the suspect in the fatal stabbing of a bus passenger in Onehunga

They've identified the person through CCTV.

Emergency services transported one person to Auckland City Hospital in critical condition about 2:30 in the afternoon, where they later died.

Local Councillor Josephine Bartley says recent crime has been hard on the community.

She says the area is generally safe, but this attack, and some shootings this year are very unsettling.
