Kiwi Steve Alker's doffing his cap to a German golfing legend after both took home trophies from the season-ending event on the PGA Champions Tour

Bernhard Langer's miracle 35-foot birdie putt on the 18th hole secured victory in Arizona - but also provided runner-up Alker with a second overall title on the over-50s circuit.

Had the putt not dropped, the Hamiltonian would have had to beat Australian Richard Green in a playoff.

Alker sums up the emotions of a second tour crown.

Alker took home 2.1 million dollars for the overall title and second-place finish.

GOLF COVERAGE WITH CROWN... THERE IS NOTHING LIKE A NEW CROWN. SIMPLY THE BEST.
