Jonathan Scott and Zooey Deschanel haven't made "any progress" with their wedding plans

The 46-year-old TV star and Zooey, 44, got engaged last year, but the loved-up couple have been having too much "fun" to think about their wedding plans in any real detail

Speaking to Us Weekly, Jonathan quipped: "I'm actually sick and tired of myself not figuring it out yet.

"We haven't had any progress. We've just been having a ton of fun."

Jonathan and Zooey initially "assumed" that they would tie the knot in 2024. But Jonathan joked that he now needs to find a date that's convenient for his brother, Drew Scott.

He said: "We got engaged, not this August, but [the] previous August. We've assumed maybe it would be this year or something. But the first text I got was from Drew saying, 'Alright, I'm going to need to get the dates because this isn't convenient for me.'"

Jonathan previously admitted that he wants to have an "intimate" wedding when they eventually tie the knot.

The TV star explained that already have a firm idea of what they want their wedding day to look like.

He told Us Weekly: "The ceremony and the pomp and circumstance, we'll get that out of the way, and then it's the reception. It's going to be a blast."

Jonathan and the 'New Girl' actress were "very different people" during their younger years. But he suggested that their interests and ambitions have become more closely aligned over recent times.

He said: "I mean, we've both been married before, but even when we were younger, you're looking for different things, and who knows what we were looking for at that time?"
