    Twenty-four charges have been laid against former Australian broadcaster Alan Jones spanning two decades - after an investigation


    The 83-year-old was arrested at his Sydney apartment today.

    Charges include 11 counts of aggravated indecent assault.

    New South Wales Assistant commissioner, Michael Fitzgerald, says they involve eight people.

    He says Jones knew victims personally or professionally - while for some, the offending took place when they met.

    Jones denies the allegations, and will appear in court next month.
