A meeting today on ongoing problems with school lunches was canned at the last minute

Minister-in-charge of the programme David Seymour was scheduled to meet Education Minister Erica Stanford this morning -- after complaints from schools over late deliveries and sub-standard offerings.

    Seymour confirms it fell through.

He says both ministers had to go to Caucus meetings, and couldn't meet if it went over-time -- which is what happened.

Stanford admits she waited for Seymour in her office - but has brushed off having to re-schedule.

She says Ministers' diaries are complex and constantly-shifting -- but she's looking forward to meeting with him tomorrow.
