A 17th-place finish for 17-year-old Kiwi driver Louis Sharp in his Formula Three debut weekend at the Australian Grand Prix

Sharp was caught up in an early incident in today's sprint race after starting 15th ... he had made his way up to ninth on lap one but then dropped down the field.

The race finished under the virtual safety car ... Mexican Santiago Ramos won.

The final Formula One practice session's under way in Melbourne ... and New Zealand's Liam Lawson has had to pit with a battery issue - on Sky Sport.

Qualifying roars into action at six o'clock.
