    After a difficult first practice session in scorching heat Kiwi Formula One driver Liam Lawson is happy with his progress ahead of the Bahrain Grand Prix


    The 23-year-old was the 12th fastest in Practice Two under lights, one point two seconds off the pace set by the McLaren of Oscar Piastri.

    The field of 20 is struggling for grip on the five and a half kilometre circuit...and Lawson says it's tough operating in daylight, then at night.
