A speed limit boost is on the cards for Transmission Gully

Transport Minister Chris Bishop is consulting on increasing the speed limit to 110 kilometres an hour on the State Highway One stretch, north of Wellington.

The Government's also consulting on boosting the speed limit on Raumati Straights, which connects Transmission Gully with Kapiti Expressway.

    Feedback's open for six weeks.
