    High praise for a basketball son of a gun at the Under-19 World Cup in Switzerland...as New Zealand stormed into the semi-finals


    Hayden Jones - the son of former Tall Black Phill Jones - has led the charge in a 14-point quarter-final win over the hosts - with 23 points, nine rebounds, five assists and four blocks.

    Junior Tall Blacks coach Matt Lacey says the stellar effort was even more remarkable given Jones was thrust into a playmaking role.



    New Zealand will need to down the USA to make the final.
