A man's due in court today charged with murder, after the death of a woman in Christchurch

A man's due in court today charged with murder, after the death of a woman in Christchurch

Emergency services were called to a property on Lamorna Road, in Parklands, just before 8 last night - the woman was found unresponsive and died at the scene.

The 36-year-old man's scheduled to appear in Christchurch District Court this morning.

Lamorna residents should expect to see a large Police presence in their area - and Queenspark Drive remains closed.
