A man's been charged with arson, after fires in Auckland's Newmarket and Epsom this morning

A man's been charged with arson, after fires in Auckland's Newmarket and Epsom this morning

Police say they heard reports of a building on fire in Kent Street at 6am.

They say the fire is believed to be related to another fire earlier this morning, at a business on Manukau Road in Epsom.

Police say no injuries were reported at either of the fires, and a 36-year-old man was arrested a short time later.

The man will appear in court on two charges of arson.
