Police continue to investigate the sudden unexplained death of a Christchurch man last weekend

Police continue to investigate the sudden unexplained death of a Christchurch man last weekend

The man's body was found at a house on Beckenham's Eastern Terrace on Saturday morning.

Investigators have yet to determine the cause and time of death - but say significant progress has been made.

Police say information circulating about firearms at the address is inaccurate - and there's no threat to public safety.

They say the man collected air guns lawfully and stored them appropriately.
