Internet audits of Police devices have led to an officer being stood down - and reviews of other staff - all sparked by a senior leader's fall from grace

Former Deputy Police Commissioner Jevon McSkimming resigned this year, and is charged with possessing objectionable publications, including child exploitation and bestiality material.

Police now confirm inappropriate - but not objectionable - content's been found on a police device - and an officer's standing down while subject to an employment investigation.

Acting Deputy Commissioner Jill Rogers says the audits also identified a small number of users of concern, now being reviewed by the National Integrity Unit.
