Australia have held off a valiant England fightback to clinch cricket's Ashes with an 82-run win in the third test in Adelaide

The tourists started the final day at 207 for 6 as they chased a record target of 435, but were bowled for 352 as Mitchell Starc took three of the last four wickets.

Starc told Sky Sport he needed to step up, with spinner Nathan Lyon ruled out for the remainder of the test with a hamstring injury.
